Our People

Our human capital is the most valuable asset we have. The sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, talent and self-expression that employees invest in their work represents a significant part of not only our culture, but also our reputation and success.

We are proud of our achievements but also very aware that a company’s culture must be constantly nurtured to ensure there is equality and opportunity for all.

GlobalData is committed to better understanding the people that make up our business so that we can continue to support them.

New initiatives are being developed to ensure that we attract and retain a diverse and talented range of colleagues that will help make us more innovative, resilient and successful.

GlobalData is a company of more than 3,500 talented and hard-working people with a rich blend of backgrounds and skills. Based in over 20 offices across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, we rely on the diversity of colleagues and our geographic footprint to meet the varied needs of our clients. We help them navigate change and uncertainty and make well-informed decisions. We also help each other in our work by being authentic, supportive, and pragmatic.

Life at GlobalData is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, varied, fun and rewarding – and our people reflect that. It is the contribution, combination and collaboration of our talent that has shaped our success so far, and will continue to do so in the future.

We attract people with the desire and stamina to make a positive contribution to our large and rapidly growing business. Our newest colleagues thrive by being given early responsibility and continual on-the-job training supported by their managers and peers.

We are curious, innovative, and self-motivated with a passion for understanding the world. We embrace the future and are open-minded to change. The opportunities are limitless for those with ambition and drive.

Employee Resource Groups

We have 5 company-sponsored and employee-driven groups that are set up to ensure that employees with shared characteristics, experiences and interests have a platform and safe space to voice their opinions, learn about diversity and inclusion challenges within GlobalData and externally, and guide organisational practice and the prioritisation of initiatives.

They raise awareness, host events, help create workplace resources and ensure psychological support and safety. Each group is led by passionate advocates and an executive sponsor who represents the group within our Senior Leadership Team.

Internship Program

GlobalData supports students navigating the earliest stage of their careers, and each year we offer over 50 paid internships, based mainly in London.

Internships are open to students of selected partner universities and family members of GlobalData employees. Interns work closely with their mentors, engaging in real-life projects across analysis, editorial, consulting, customer success and strategy. They gain insight into the operations of an innovative digital organisation, learn how it feels to work in a professional environment, and the valuable project experience helps direct them with their future careers. As a result, several participants have become full-time GlobalData employees.

The four-week programme includes skills workshops, social events and group sessions hosted by internal leaders and inspirational external guest speakers.

Graduate Program

Our Graduate Analyst Program provides permanent roles for early professionals with the potential to fast track and become GlobalData leaders of the future.

Participants work on our exciting Thematic Intelligence service, collaborating with our industry divisions and developing their understanding of themes impacting all companies, such as ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Regulation’ and ‘Future of Work’. They also positively influence the development of our company, contributing to various marketing and product development initiatives.

Each member of the program has access to a mentor, guidance to develop essential skills, and learning sessions hosted by colleagues and senior leaders.
